Chairman of National Assembly's Foreign Affairs Committee Visits Laos

A Hungarian Parliamentary delegation headed by Mr. Zsolt Németh, Chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the Hungarian National Assembly visited Laos between the 23rd and 25th of March 2015.

A Hungarian Parliamentary delegation headed by Mr. Zsolt Németh, Chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the Hungarian National Assembly visited Laos between the 23rd and 25th of March 2015. The visit took place on the occasion of launching a Hungarian – Lao development cooperation project strengthening the institutional capacity of the National Assembly of the Lao PDR. The project is financed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade and implemented by the International Centre for Democratic Transition with the professional support of the Hungarian National Assembly. Mr. Zsolt Németh held talks with his Lao counterpart, Mr. Koukeo Akhamontry, President of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the National Assembly on bilateral parliamentary, political, economic, trade and education relations between Hungary and Laos and has exchanged views on foreign policy topics of mutual interest with Mrs. Sounthone Sayachack, Vice-Minister of Foreign Affairs. During his stay in Laos the Chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee paid a courtesy call on H.E. Mrs. Pany Yathotu, President of the National Assembly.
