The Governments of Hungary and the Lao PDR signed an intergovernmental agreement on a new tied aid loan program worth of US$ 160 million in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Hungary. In the framework of the program a population registration and electronic identification card system, the further development of the food security system and wastewater management investments will be carried out in collaboration with Hungarian companies in Laos.
