It was a pleasure to pay a courtesy call on His Excellency Arkhom Termpittayapaisith, Minister of Transport of Thailand. Ambassador Szilveszter Bus emphasized that Hungary may be a small country in size but quite significant when it comes to infrastructure thanks to its central location in Europe at crossroads of European transportation routes and the highly developed and dense transportation network. The fact that transportation is under the guidance of the Ministry of Innovation and Technology reflects well the ambitions of Hungary to have a state-of-the-art and innovative transportation system let it be autonomous driving or 21st century transportation infastructure. Hungary aims at being a forerunner in testing autonomous driving and also boasts about leading technologies in air navigation services and electronic toll payment.
