István Jakab, the Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly of Hungary, vitising Thailand

H.E. Mr. István Jakab, Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly of Hungary – represented H.E. Mr. László Kövér, Speaker of the National Assembly of Hungary – paid an official visit in Thailand between 3-9 February, 2020. The purpose of the visit was to develop the parliamentary relations.

The Deputy Speaker held talks with the President of the National Assembly, with the First Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, with the President of the Senate and with the Governor of Chiang Mai Province. Mr. István Jakab met with the Standing Committee on Agriculture and Cooperatives of the House of Representatives and the leaders of the Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives in order to strengthen the relationship in the field of the agricultural cooperation.

Mr. István Simicskó, Chairman of the Hungarian-South-East Asian Friendship Group and Mr. Péter Sárdi, State Secretary and Director of Foreign Affairs were members of the delegation.
