After yet another successful bilateral ministerial meeting on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly in New York, Parties signed the Extradition Tretary between Hungary and the Kingdom of Thailand on 26 September, 2018.

On behalf of the Government of Hungary, H.E. Mr. Péter Szijjártó Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade, and on behalf of the Thai Party H.E. Mr. Virasakdi Futrakul Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs signed the international agreement.

With its entry into force, Parties will have a more efficient and faster procedure to transfer the criminals hiding on their territories to each other’s authorities.

During the recent years an outstanding development started in political, trade and educational cooperation between the two countries, which will continue.
