Our Embassy was delighted to host a friendly gathering on the occasion of our National Day for Thai alumni students who studied in Hungary. In 2018, as proof of Hungary’s commitment to promote educational relations, the Stipendium Hungaricum scholarship was launched in Thailand.
Since then Hungary offers 40 scholarships each year to Thai students to study in Hungary. This was a great afternoon to mingle and liaise with our Thai alumni friends who could share their fond memories of study, friendship and beautiful cities from Hungary and could also take part in a fun quiz game proving their knowledge of our country. H.E. Sándor Sipos, PhD, Ambassador-designate, was glad to hand over the prizes.
