Many of Hungary’s best offerings were sampled at an F&B tasting event on the 6th March in Bangkok, organized by the Hungarian National Trading House together with its office in Thailand and the Embassy of Hungary. Based on a thousand years of tradition while meeting 21st century needs and demands, Hungarian food products represent a wide variety of healthy and delicious provisions. The country is one of the world’s foremost producers of paprika, foie gras and salami, and is a major international exporter of other types of food and beverages. High quality and safety are essential traits of Hungarian products from meat to fruits and vegetables to processed food. Hungarian taste is not distant from the South East Asian flavors: fresh ingredients, spices and herbs, red and green colors. Food and beverage products featured at the tasting program included cold meat masterpieces, excitingly spiced and traditional cheese products, healthy snacks, jams and honeys from different flowers and fruits, refreshing and healthy drinks and highest quality Old World wines. The successful event was attended by representatives of the Thai Hotel, Restaurant and Café sector and various F&B importers and distributors.
