The Embassy proudly presented the award-winning Hungarian movie ’Kincsem – Bet for Revenge’ on 19 May in Bangkok, at Thailand Knowledge Park as part of the Contemporary World Film Series, followed by a cocktail reception with Hungarian wine and delicacies.
H.E. Mr. Péter Jakab, Ambassador of Hungary opened the event, speaking of the great successes of Hungarian filmmaking in recent years, and placing the plot of the movie in a historical context, followed by international cinematography expert Ms. Lekha Shankar introducing the film.
We were happy to welcome a huge audience at the sold-out screening hall, seeing so many guests being interested in Hungarian culture at our event.
