Budapest Waterworks, an outstanding water utility supplier in the Central European region participated at the Thai Water Expo in Bangkok from 7th to 10th of June 2017. Budapest Waterworks was given the privilege to hold the title ‘Member of the Leading Utilities of the World Network’ in the international event of Global Water Summit in Madrid on 24th April 2017. Together with the title the company received the award for Gold Standard for Utility Performance. Budapest Waterworks has 148 years of operating experience, many technological developments, 20 patents and an outstanding record of international projects. Due to the similarities of the situation and certain issues the two countries are facing cooperation in the area of water management between Thailand and Hungary has become even more intensive recently.
