The Oriental Business and Innovation Center of Budapest Business School in Hungary is hosting a conference on The Transformation of Asian Economic Institutions: Understanding Local Changes and Global Impacts on Business and Society on 10-11 May, 2018.

The Central European region is currently the engine of the European Union’s economic growth, therefore it can provide a great investment opportunity for Thai companies, as already proven by several successful projects. Central European Embassies (Visegrád 4 partners Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland and Slovakia as well as our neighbour Austria) teamed up to present our region to the Federation of Thai Industries at FTI’s annual new year assembly in Bangkok on January, 29, 2018.

Get SMART in HUNGARY, the Embassy’s event promoting Hungarian innovation and higher education organized jointly with Chulalongkorn University took place on the 13th of January 2018 in Bangkok at the highly prestigious University. The Stipendium Hungaricum scholarship program opens for the first time for Thai students in the academic year of 2018/2019 offering opportunities to study in Hungary.

The call for applications for the Stipendium Hungaricum Scholarship Programme for the academic year 2018/2019 is now open. The deadline for submitting the complete application package is 16 February 2018 (until 12:00 PM Central European Time). Hungary was represented by famous young fashion designer Dora Kovács at Thai Silk Road to the World 2017, a promotion event further enhancing the popularity of world-renowned Thai silk. The Hungarian designer introduced her new collection at Central World on 23 November with great success.
