Invitation for Grant Applications for Hungarian language course – Hungarian studies for persons whose native language is not Hungarian for the 2018/2019 academic year

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Hungary invites applications for a grant for a 10-month comprehensive Hungarian language – Hungarian studies training for candidates who are: –non-Hungarian citizens whose native language is other than Hungarian, –below 35 years of age, –graduate or undergraduate students of Hungarian studies. Rubik’s Cube Workshop at the Central Library of Chulalongkorn University

On 19 April a Rubik’s Cube Workshop was organised as part of the Embassy of Hungary’s Smart Hungary innovation exhibition in the Central Library of Chulalongkorn University. Asian Champion and two-time Thai Champion Asia Konvittayayotin and Tanai Chaikraveephand, Thai member of the World Cube Association taught the participants tricks and strategies to do the Cube.

Hungary donates record amount again following the Diplomatic Red Cross Bazaar in 2018

The Embassy proudly participated again with Hungarian traditional folk and food products at the 51st Diplomatic Red Cross Bazaar, held on 24-25 February at Siam Paragon Shopping Mall in Bangkok. This year 52 embassies and 40 companies in 120 booths welcomed visitors, selling their high quality products to the public. Her Majesty Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn, the patron of the charity event, graciously visited the two centrally located Hungarian booths. Our newest product, the organic acacia honey received a great interest, and was completely sold out already on the first day of the Bazaar.
